Couples Therapy
Most couples cite "communication issues" as the number one issue to address in therapy. Whether this pertains to conflict, withdrawal, loneliness, feeling unheard or misunderstood - one commonality is that most couples come to therapy because they’re stuck. The same arguments keep happening, distance keeps growing, and attempts to repair keep falling short. That pattern is what I work to help couples understand and transform.
I work with couples using an integrative approach informed by the developmental model of Bader and Pearson, Gottman Method principles, Terry Real’s Relational Life Therapy, and the principles of Emotion Focused Therapy. Together, these frameworks help us look at where each of you is individually, how you function as a system, and what needs to shift to cultivate a secure and fulfilling relationship. Sessions range from 50 mins, 90 mins, or 2 hrs and can be tailored to meet your needs and schedule.
